OSHA 10-Hour Construction

OSHA Outreach courses are provided in partnership with HSI (Summit Training Source), an OSHA-authorized online Outreach provider. OSHA 10 Construction acts as a solid introduction to common occupational safety concepts and workplace hazards in the construction industry. It is ideal and often required for many frontline construction workers who need to show proof of completion of a training course by an authorized OSHA outreach. The 10-hour course is intended for the general workforce, while the 30-hour class is more appropriate for supervisors and workers with some safety responsibility. Your employer should tell you if one course or the other is preferred or required. 4-6 weeks after completion of all course requirements the learner will receive a plastic wallet DOL/OSHA 10-Hour completion card by mail. Audience: This program is ideal for most workers in construction environments. Workers in other industries should consider taking the OSHA 10-hour General Industry course instead. This course also grants 1 CEU. Special Requirements: To comply with OSHA’s requirements for offering this program, there are some special considerations: Learner will need to register a valid mailing address to receive their completion card Learner can spend no more than 7.5 hours training in any 10-hour period Learner can spend no more than 10 hours training in any 16-hour period Learner must train on at least two calendar days to complete
